Fraternity announces arrest on freight trains per week Bi-Oceanic Corridor Project next

Buenos Aires (Télam) .- The train drivers' union, The Brotherhood, today announced the initiation of an action plan with a "national strike" from 0hs up to 24 hours on 29 September in all freight rail companies of the country, affecting passenger services.

The measure was announced as a result of delays in reaching agreements regarding the discussion of joint committees with the Chamber of Freight Railway Companies, said in a statement Fraternity.

Referring to the strike, the general secretary of the Brotherhood, Omar Maturana, said that "it is the only effective tool that workers have to make ourselves heard."

The joint with passenger transport companies were closed in late August, but since hinted that the union is not ruling out a general national strike if the situation continues to cargo companies.
